The DIF Municipal in Chihuahua Capital launched the ‘Reto Útil’ initiative to collect school supplies for vulnerable children in urban and rural areas. Following the collection period, Chihuahua Mayor Marco Bonilla and Karina Olivas delivered educational kits to 200 preschool and elementary students at the Granja Hogar in the Nombre de Dios neighborhood. The supplies, provided through the collaborative effort of government, civil society, and the business sector, included items such as crayons, watercolors, and art supplies. As part of broader educational support efforts across Mexico, Mayor Marco Bonilla continued the ‘Reto Útil’ program by distributing school kits to children residing in local care homes.
