In late July 2026, Chinese carmaker Jetour launched its T2 XWD 4×4 plug‑in hybrid SUV in Brazil, featuring a 597 hp powertrain and a 43.24 kWh battery. During the same period, BYD expanded its international presence, including road testing the Atto 2 SUV in India and introducing the Atto 2 as an affordable sub-compact plug-in hybrid in Brunei.
