The Xinghai V6 is positioned as an accessible option for high-end intelligent driving, with promotional prices starting at 99,900 yuan. At its 2026 autumn product launch in Liuzhou, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor provided further details on the Xinghai V6, noting its 2,900mm wheelbase and a 60.5kWh battery offering a 510km range. The company also highlighted a strategic shift toward global expansion, moving from simple product exports to a localized ecosystem that includes nine overseas KD factories and a new right-hand drive platform. Recent industry analysis suggests the launch of the Xinghai V6 reflects a broader trend where high-end smart driving technology is moving into more affordable vehicle segments. Additionally, August 2026 export data indicates strong performance from Chinese manufacturers, with BYD leading new energy vehicle exports, followed by Tesla and Geely.
