A nationwide Cinema Festival is being held across Poland, featuring discounted movie tickets priced at 15 PLN to promote film culture and accessibility. The event involves various venues, including Multikino multiplexes, independent cinemas, and the Helios cinema chain. The festival’s programming includes a diverse selection of recent Polish productions, such as ‘Jak żyć, żeby nie zwariować’, ‘Syrenka Picassa’, ‘Czas, który nie nadszedł’, and ‘Lalka’, as well as international releases like ‘Inna mamusia’, ‘Klara i słońce’, and ‘Shaun the Sheep: Farmageddon’. Some locations, such as Gdynia and Szczecin Outlet, offer these discounted rates for IMAX and Helios Dream halls. The initiative is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, with InPost serving as the main sponsor and ORLEN as a partner. The eleventh edition of the National Cinema Festival (Święto Kina) is scheduled for the weekend of October 24 and 25, 2026. During this edition, major chains including Helios and Cinema City will offer the flat 15 PLN rate. Notably, Cinema City will include premium formats such as IMAX, 4DX, and ScreenX in the promotional pricing. The festival is organized by the Polish Association of New Cinemas in cooperation with the Association of Polish Cinemas. The programming for this edition includes the animated film ‘Supermocni’ and ‘Baranek Shaun i kudłata bestia’ alongside previously mentioned titles. As the festival approaches, local venues have begun releasing specific repertoires. Sieradzkie Centrum Kultury has scheduled the comedy ‘Jak żyć, żeby nie zwariować’, the horror premiere ‘Clayface’, and the period drama ‘Rozważna i romantyczna’. Meanwhile, Kino Eva in Międzyzdroje will feature the animation premiere ‘Supermocni’, ‘Baranek Shaun i kudłata bestia’, ‘Zapomniana Wyspa’, and period pieces including ‘Lalka’ and ‘Rozważna i romantyczna’.
