While agencies are analyzing these allegations, sources indicate that no formal criminal investigations or charges have been initiated by U.S. authorities. López Beltrán has denied all accusations, following the revocation of his U.S. visa in August, an action he described as a ‘perverse and crude canallada’. Sheinbaum has defended him, suggesting the revocation was an attempt to interfere in Mexico’s internal affairs.
