Club América Femenil has maintained a strong presence in the Apertura 2026 tournament, though their undefeated streak recently ended. Following a dominant 5-0 victory against León on September 28, where Geyse Ferreira scored twice, Priscila da Silva netted two goals, and Irene Guerrero reached her 50th club goal, the team held the top position in Group A with 25 points. However, during Matchday 10, the team’s undefeated run was broken by a 4-3 loss to Rayadas de Monterrey. Despite this defeat, América remains at the top of Group B with 25 points, while Monterrey moved to the top of the general standings with 27 points. In Group B, Chivas Femenil has moved into second place following a 1-0 win against FC Juárez. The club is currently navigating a significant FIFA international window, with 14 players called up to various national squads, including the Mexican senior and U-23 teams, the Brazilian senior team, and the Venezuelan senior team.
