Collegiate swimming and diving competition
Overview
Collegiate swim and dive teams participated in various regional meets in late October. At Macalester College, the women’s team lost to the College of Saint Benedict, while the men’s team narrowly lost a dual meet against Saint John’s University. Gustavus Adolphus College hosted meets where the men’s team defeated UW-Stevens Point, and the women’s team secured a victory against UW-Stevens Point but lost to MSU-Mankato.
By early November, programs began preparing for upcoming dual meets against regional rivals. The University of Minnesota women’s program, ranked No. 22 nationally, is scheduled to compete against the No. 12 ranked University of Wisconsin. In Colorado, the Colorado State University women’s team is set to host Wyoming for a Border War rivalry meet, followed by a competition against Northern Arizona.
