Colorful Technology has introduced new high-end motherboards utilizing the AMD X870E chipset for the AM5 platform. Initial announcements included the iGame X870E Vulcan W OC, an all-white flagship model featuring an 18+2+2-phase power delivery system and support for DDR5-8800 MT/s. The company also introduced the iGame X870E ULTRA-S, a model designed for enthusiasts and workstations that supports up to 192 GB of DDR5 memory and includes 16 MCIO-8i interfaces. Following these announcements, the company launched the iGame X870E ULTRA-S V14 DDR5 motherboard. Targeted at gamers and creators using flagship processors like the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, this specific model features a 16+2+1-phase power design, dual USB4 40Gbps ports, and an ‘X3D AI High Frame Mode’ to optimize performance for Ryzen X3D processors. In China, the iGame X870E ULTRA-S V14 was listed for approximately CNY 1,899. The board includes five M.2 slots, three of which utilize PCIe 5.0 x4 channels, and features a tool-free M.2 quick-release latch and a graphics-card quick-release mechanism. The product has since expanded to the Indian market. The Indian release maintains the 16+2+1-phase 80A DrMOS design and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, while featuring a hip-hop-inspired aesthetic with graffiti-style typography and pixel-inspired ARGB lighting.
