Various municipalities across Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina have hosted a range of community-focused events and cultural celebrations. In Croatia and Slovenia, activities included traditional ceremonies such as the ‘natepanje’ in Mali Mihaljevec, as well as youth engagement initiatives in Sežana focused on education, social inclusion, and the legacy of poet Srečko Kosovel. Subsequent events in Serbia and Croatia centered on Children’s Week and local heritage. In Serbia, municipalities held workshops and performances to honor writer Đura Jakšić and celebrated children’s rights in Kragujevac. In Croatia, celebrations included agroexpos and craft fairs in Virovitica, workshops and family races in Sveti Lovreč, and an autumn cross in Velika Gorica. Recent regional activities have expanded to include gastronomy and heritage festivals across the Balkans. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, ‘Ozrenska jesen’ in Petrovo showcased organic food and crafts, while ‘Raštikijada’ in Grude promoted Herzegovinian cuisine. Croatian celebrations of local identity included ‘Mamičina škrija’ in Gornji Kraljevec, ‘Zagorske jeseni’ in Josipovo, and ‘Jesen u gradu’ in Virovitica. Educational and sporting initiatives also continued, with children from Leposavić participating in a liturgy at the Rakovica monastery in Belgrade, and the ‘Dečje Liparske’ event in Srpska Crnja honoring Đura Jakšić. Sporting events included the 40th Autumn Cross in Čakovec and the 20th Children's Autumn Cross in Velika Gorica. Additional community efforts included intergenerational programs in Gudurica and children's week celebrations in Dubrava and Sveti Lovreč. Recent developments highlight a continued emphasis on preserving local traditions. In Petrovo, ‘Ozrenska jesen’ featured approximately 50 exhibitors of agricultural and artisanal products. In Grude, the 14th ‘Raštikijada’ focused on Herzegovinian cuisine through dishes made from raštika. In Jajce, the 25th ‘Šopovi dani na Plivi’ concluded with programs honoring poet Nikola Šop.
