Municipalities across Brazil continue to conduct various community-focused events, ranging from social integration programs for senior citizens to broader cultural and educational festivals. Newer municipal activities have expanded to include large-scale founding anniversary celebrations. Sapucaia do Sul marked 65 years of emancipation with a public event featuring a 65-meter cake and musical performances.
