Various community and solidarity events are being organized across Catalonia. In early October, the Sant Andreu district announced the ‘Tardor Solidària 2026’ program, featuring 25 free activities centered on themes of community, memory, and housing. Simultaneously, Reus scheduled a solidarity walk to support the Taller Baix Camp, an entity focused on social inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities. By mid-October, local programming expanded to include the Caminada de les Dones Rurals in Tàrrega, which aims to promote physical activity and the role of women in rural areas. In Sant Cugat, the 51st Festa de Tardor scheduled for late October will feature approximately sixty entities presenting a manifesto against housing speculation, advocating for rent regulation and increased public housing. Additional regional festivities have been announced, including the 18th Craft Fair in Albinyana, which features traditional workshops and casteller performances. In Palamós, the eighth edition of ‘El Mar de Birres’ will showcase artisanal beers at the fishing port, while Peralada’s ‘Aires de Verema’ festival is expanding its third edition to include wine tastings and cultural talks at the Perelada Resort. Gastronomic and commercial initiatives also include the 17th ‘Ruta de Tapes’ in Castelló, involving 60 establishments, and the second ‘Nit del Comerç’ in Altea to support local businesses.
