Charitable and health-focused initiatives in Vietnam have expanded from hospital-based nutritional support to broader community health, educational, and skill-building programs. Recent activities under the ‘For a Healthier Vietnam’ program have targeted disadvantaged mountainous regions, such as Lai Chau, Lao Cai, and Quang Tri, providing health examinations, hygiene kits, and school facility repairs for over 1,000 students. Educational support has increasingly diversified into specialized infrastructure, digital literacy, and cultural preservation. In An Giang, the Phoenix Foundation donated over 1.6 billion VND for an artificial turf football pitch and a covered swimming pool to prevent drowning. In Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Lottery One Member Limited Liability Company mobilized over 3.7 billion VND to provide scholarships and educational subsidies to 600 students. Other efforts include integrating Muong cultural values into curricula and providing scholarships to children of forest protection officers via the ‘Mam Non cua Rung 2026’ program. Newer initiatives focus on student mobility and safety. In Ha Tinh province, the North Central Representative Office of the Education and Training Newspaper coordinated the donation of 20 bicycles to underprivileged students at Huong Son Primary and Nguyen Tuan Thien Secondary schools to facilitate travel to school. Additionally, Honda Vietnam is collaborating with the Ministry of Education and Training and the Traffic Police Department to distribute approximately 1.8 million standard helmets to first-grade students nationwide for the 2026–2027 school year, alongside traffic safety training. Public health and sanitation efforts continue through the ‘Clean Water for Children’ project, which is installing filtration systems in schools across Dong Thap, Can Tho, and Ho Chi Minh City. Additionally, water supply projects in Cao Bang and Hai Duong have improved access for thousands of residents. Social while social welfare initiatives have intensified for vulnerable groups. In Hanoi, Ngoc Ha Ward launched a pilot healthcare model provide specialized support for people with severe disabilities, while the ‘Million Bright Eyes’ Fund supports disabilities and eye surgeries for underprivileged patients. Specialized support for children with disabilities continues at the Hong Linh Inclusive Education Development Support Center, and the ‘Family is a Child’s Home’ (FAMILY) initiative supports families through therapeutic training.
