Various community memorial events have been organized across different Italian municipalities to honor deceased individuals through charity, culture, and sports. In Galatina, the 20th Fernando Panico Memorial brought together various volleyball clubs to honor a multi-day tournament held late coach. Charity-driven sports initiatives continue to expand, such as the 18th Gianbattista Mazzini Memorial, which raised over 24,000 euros for patients with myeloproliferative diseases. In Messina, a joint volleyball training session between Messina Volley and Futura Volley was organized to raise funds for the Sant’Antonio soup kitchen. Additionally, Melilli marked the inauguration of a new volleyball court at Pala Melilli alongside the Pirrera Padel Center. 3rd “Terrazza degli Iblei” Trophy.
