The Summer Breeze Open Air in Dinkelsbühl hosted roughly 50,000 attendees under the motto ‘Less Trash – More Thrash’, utilizing waste separation and biodegradable tableware. Other regional highlights included the Ewig-Jung-Festival in Eichsfeld and the Open Flair festival in Eschwege. Additionally, the Future of Festivals trade fair in Berlin prepared to showcase innovations in event technology and sustainable production. As the season progresses into late August progressed, and September, the event landscape expanded to include diverse of regional markets and music festivals and markets continues to expand across Germany and Austria. Musical highlights include the TaunusRock Open-Air in Taunusstein-Hahn and the Summer Festival at the Altusrieder open-air stage.
