Italian Serie A club Como has completed several defensive reinforcements under coach Cesc Fàbregas. Following the official confirmation of Trevoh Chalobah's transfer from Chelsea, the 27-year-old English defender has signed a contract running through June 2031. The deal is valued at an initial fee of approximately €30 million, with potential add-ons bringing the total value to up to €36 million. Chelsea has also secured a sell-on clause as part of the agreement. A Chelsea academy product with over 150 senior appearances and a recent participant in the 2026 World Cup, Chalobah joins the club to reunite with former teammate Fàbregas. The manager described the defender is expected to provide leadership and technical quality as a leader capable of raising the team's level, while Chalobah noted his excitement regarding the club's ambitious project as Como prepares for its Champions League campaign. Additionally, Como secured the signing of Brazilian right-back Yan Couto on loan from Borussia Dortmund, a deal which includes a €20 million purchase option.
