During the reality series ‘La Casa de los Famosos México’, contestant Aldo Rendón was involved in multiple interpersonal and professional conflicts. These included disputes with singer Mariana Ochoa, a confrontation with Cynthia Klitbo, and criticism from stylists Roberto Coss and Steph Abrajan. On September 1, 2026, host Galilea Montijo announced Rendón’s immediate departure. Rendón stated, “The conditions of the house are not suitable for me to be here. I have a health problem that is reversible, but I have to start treatment now and I cannot be going in and out of the house to do it.” Following his exit, Rendón provided updates via social media, noting that his physical condition had become unsustainable. By September 8, he revealed he was awaiting a definitive diagnosis while experiencing significant inflammation in his liver and spleen. He noted that his existing condition of gout had complicated medical efforts to administer certain medications. On September 14, 2026, Rendón made a brief return to the show as a guest during the ‘Congelados’ dynamic. During this appearance, he clarified that his departure was a mutual agreement with production driven by medical necessity rather than a production decision. He confirmed that he had appeared jaundiced during his stay and that medical professionals advised him he could no longer delay necessary studies and treatment. His return occurred alongside the elimination of influencer Masad Altamimi, leaving nine contestants remaining in the competition. Later, details emerged regarding the severity of Rendón’s ailments, which included issues with his thyroid. Medical professionals had advised immediate departure to perform a biopsy on nodules detected in his throat to rule out cancer.
