Authorities in Thanh Hoa province are investigating a major fraud scheme involving the falsification of construction material test results. The investigation centers on the Central Construction and Testing Joint Stock Company, which allegedly collaborated with various businesses to produce fraudulent documentation for project acceptance and completion. Following an initial indictment of nine leaders and employees for crimes including ~~“falsifying~~ ‘falsifying documents of agencies or ~~organizations”~~ organizations’ and ~~“illegal~~ ‘illegal trading of invoices and ~~documents,”~~ documents,’ police have indicted six additional defendants, bringing the total number of accused individuals to 15. Investigations revealed that several companies, including Thach Thanh Traffic Joint Stock Company and Tan Nam Thanh Co., Ltd., conspired with the testing firm to complete project files using fake data. Furthermore, an employee at the testing firm, identified as La Duc Long, reportedly created 105 fraudulent test result slips to assist Truong Son Real Estate Company in completing residential construction files.
