Controversy surrounding Go Young-wook

Overview

Former K-pop singer and comedian Go Young-wook has faced significant social media bans and public backlash following revelations of his past sexual offenses against minors. TikTok Korea permanently removed his account shortly after its launch, citing community guidelines regarding individuals convicted of sexual crimes against minors. This followed previous terminations of his YouTube and Instagram accounts.

Despite these bans, Go has continued to engage in online hostility, targeting several high-profile South Korean celebrities including MC Jun Hyun Moo, Yoo Jae Suk, and Lee Byung Hun. His actions have drawn intense public criticism as his past criminal record remains a central point of controversy.
