The 40th edition of the Copa Galicia senior men’s basketball tournament took place at the Multiusos Fontes do Sar in Santiago de Compostela, marking the venue’s return to the event for the first time since 2013. In the semifinals, Río Breogán defeated Monbus Obradoiro with a score of 84-81 to advance to the championship game. Leyma Coruña secured its place in the final by defeating Club Ourense Baloncesto. In the final, Leyma Coruña won its second Copa Galicia title title, ending a thirty-year drought, by defeating Río Breogán. Breogán with a score of 102-90. While the first quarter remained competitive, Leyma Coruña established control during the second period, supported by performances from Lukas Uleckas and Dimsa, as well as critical scoring and defensive contributions from Paul Jorgensen in the second half. Alonzo Verge Jr. was named the tournament MVP for his scoring aggressive play and 10 assists. Following the victory, Leyma's coach, Carles Marco, noted that the team improved their defensive intensity, rebounding, and ball security compared to previous performances.
