Coppa Italia match between Lazio and Mantova

Lazio and Mantova are preparing for their upcoming Coppa Italia round of 32 match scheduled for August 16 at the Stadio Olimpico.

Lazio coach Rino Gattuso reported satisfaction with recent training and indicated a tactical shift toward a more aggressive pressing style. Gattuso also addressed potential transfer market developments involving Davide Frattesi and Mauro Icardi. He noted the challenge of playing without fans at home matches.

Mantova coach Francesco Modesto acknowledged Lazio as a technically and physically superior Serie A opponent. He stated his team intends to remain disciplined in defense and clinical in attack. Modesto expressed regret that the match will be played in an empty stadium due to a home supporters' strike, though he expects support from Mantova fans.
