Union Brescia secured a place in the third qualifying round of the Coppa Italia Serie C following a 5-2 victory over Giana ~~Erminio.~~ Erminio at the Rigamonti stadium. Despite lineup rotations by coach Eugenio Corini, Brescia established a 3-0 lead in the first half through goals from Pellegrini, Di Molfetta, and Marras. Although Giana Erminio attempted a comeback with two goals from Ballabio, Brescia maintained their lead to win in regulation time. Following the match, coach Eugenio Corini noted that while the team “struggled with rhythm in certain periods,” they were able to close out the match effectively.
