The Special Department for the Suppression of Corruption, Organized and Intercantonal Crime of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office of the FBiH (POSKOK) has filed an indictment against four individuals—Marin Nikolić, Elmedin Voloder, Boris Zelić, and Reuf Kadrić—for abuse of office, criminal association, and tax fraud. The case involves the manipulation of project documentation related to the construction of a 21.3-kilometer subsection of the Medakovo-Ozimice highway on Corridor Vc. Prosecutors allege the group operated between August 2022 and May 2023 to facilitate the establishment of the Ljubatovići landfill to benefit Boris Zelić during the land expropriation process. It is alleged that Zelić had previously purchased the land and subsequently received 851,905.70 KM from JP Autoceste FBiH, resulting in an illegal benefit of at least 702,305.70 KM. The company reportedly suffered material damages exceeding 2.5 million KM. Prosecutors claim the group ignored the interests of JP Autoceste FBiH, even though contractors were reportedly willing to establish a temporary landfill at their own expense. Nermin Nikšić, the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, noted that the indictment follows a criminal complaint he filed nearly three years ago. He emphasized that while the indictment is not a final verdict, it confirms the necessity of investigating the alleged abuses and called for the legal process to proceed without political pressure.
