Costco has strengthened its digital and service ties with delivery platforms. Initially, the retailer reintroduced discounted Uber and DoorDash eGift cards on its website, offering members approximately 20% savings on multipacks for rides and food services. Following this, Uber Eats expanded its delivery partnership with Costco to cover nearly 600 warehouses across 47 states. This service allows members to receive groceries and bulk products via on-demand or scheduled delivery, provided they maintain an active Costco membership to facilitate checkout and order tracking. Expanding its international delivery footprint, Costco has launched a nationwide service through DoorDash in Canada. This allows members to order groceries, electronics, household essentials, and Kirkland Signature items from all Canadian warehouses. To utilize the service, members link their membership ID within the DoorDash app. DoorDash DashPass members may qualify for ‘$0 delivery fees and reduced service fees’ on eligible orders with a subtotal of at least $85. This move builds upon existing partnerships between the companies in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Iceland, and Puerto Rico.
