Covirán Granada is participating in multiple Spanish basketball competitions. In late September, the team was drawn to face Movistar Estudiantes in the round of 32 of the Copa de España FEB, with the match scheduled for October 20 or 21 at the Palacio de Deportes in Granada. By early October, the focus shifted to the Primera FEB league, where Covirán Granada prepared to face Tizona Burgos. Following a loss to Gipuzkoa and a win in Oviedo, the team, led by Arturo Ruiz, faced Tizona Burgos, an opponent positioned near the bottom of the standings. Tizona Burgos entered the match having lost its first two games against Orense and Albacete, conceding 195 points in that period. On October 20, Movistar Estudiantes eliminated Covirán Granada from the Copa de España with an 86-76 victory at the Palacio de Deportes. The match was largely decided in the first quarter, where Granada fell behind with a score of 14-27. Although a mid-game rally led by Jovan Kljajic and Mus Barro briefly reduced the deficit to five points, Estudiantes regained control through strong defensive play and outside shooting from Omar Silverio. Covirán Granada ultimately struggled with poor perimeter shooting and a lack of effective play direction.
