CPR training initiatives in Poland

Overview

To mark European Resuscitation Day, various organizations in Poland held events focused on promoting life-saving skills through cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training.

Wrocław Medical University organized a large-scale event to increase public awareness, featuring participation from water patrol guards and supervised by experienced instructors. Simultaneously, students in cities such as Międzyrzecz and Kutno participated in a nationwide record attempt for simultaneous CPR training. In Kutno, students from Maria Skłodowska-Curie Primary School No. 6 joined the effort as part of the WOŚP Foundation’s ‘Ratujemy i Uczymy Ratować’ (We Save and Teach to Save) program, which aims to help students and teachers master first aid principles and overcome the fear of assisting during sudden cardiac arrest.
