The city of Cremona is set to host the inaugural CR10Run on October 18, 2026. Organized by a committee with experience managing the city’s traditional marathon, this new event focuses on a 10-kilometer distance. The race will follow a fast-paced course starting in via Verdi and ending at the Torrazzo in Piazza del Duomo. The event includes both a competitive race and a non-competitive run for the public. Michel Solzi, president of the organizing committee, stated the goal is to revitalize the 10km distance with high technical standards, expressing ambitions to host the Italian Championships within the next three years. As the event date approaches, the CR10Run is scheduled to launch alongside a local festival celebrating stuffed pasta.
