Law enforcement across the Balkans continues to report various criminal activities, including drug seizures, weapons confiscations, and thefts. In Montenegro, intensified operations in Bijelo Polje, Berane, and Rožaje resulted in the seizure of firearms, ammunition, marijuana, and sedative tablets. In Podgorica, authorities arrested individuals for the possession and sale of cocaine and marijuana. Additionally, Podgorica police arrested two individuals, including an Albanian citizen, for the theft of approximately 1,943 euros from a taxi association. In Budva, recent operations led to the arrest of a 19-year-old and a 23-year-old Serbian national following a drug seizure and an attempted escape. During a search of a rented apartment in Prijevor, police uncovered over 62 grams of marijuana, approximately 44 grams of hashish, and 54 MDMA tablets featuring a ‘Super Mario’ logo, along with a precision scale. The Serbian national, identified as V. ~~R.,~~ R. from Bor, is a repeat offender with a record of 27 criminal offenses. He was wanted in Serbia for crimes including robbery, assault on official personnel, and the illegal production and sale of drugs; he reportedly attempted to use a falsified Croatian identity card. Slovenian authorities reported ongoing issues with thefts in Maribor and violations in the Novo mesto region. A significant incident occurred in Radovljica, where a high-speed chase ensued after a driver allegedly shot a police officer before fleeing in a patrol vehicle. In Croatia, police in Rijeka and on the island of Krk reported thefts targeting elderly citizens, while authorities in Split-Dalmatia seized cocaine hidden in a forest. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, police in Breza arrested six individuals following heavy thefts, recovering weapons, drugs, and stolen goods.
