Lithuanian authorities have reported various criminal activities and public safety concerns across multiple regions. Initial reports highlighted a surge in violent incidents, including knife and firearm-related disputes in Klaipėda and Šiauliai, as well as an assault on a minor in Vilnius. Parallel to these violent crimes, police documented widespread fraudulent activities. Significant investment scams, often conducted via telephone or Telegram, resulted in substantial financial losses for residents in Kaunas, Alytus, Pakruojis, and Biržai. Other reported frauds included a robbery of an elderly woman in Vilnius and a failed purchase in Marijampolė. Subsequent reports focused on physical assaults, such as an incident in the Širvintos district involving a minor, and a high volume of traffic violations in the Klaipėda district, including intoxicated driving and mobile device usage. Recent legal developments have concluded investigations into two separate violent incidents. In Rokiškis, the Panevėžys District Prosecutor's Office finalized a pre-trial investigation into a February incident where a 51-year-old man, driving without a license and carrying a prohibited cold weapon, led police on a pursuit. The suspect struck several official vehicles, causing an estimated 11,568 euros in damage, and ran over a female police officer's leg. He faces charges for resisting a public official and causing non-serious health damage. Additionally, in Klaipėda, a suspect born in 2010 was taken into custody following an assault on a bus driver. A group of youths reportedly used a fire extinguisher to attack the driver during a route toward Melnragė-Mogiliovo g., with the conflict escalating from the vehicle to the street. An investigation into the breach of public order is ongoing.
