The 11th edition of the CRO Race, an international professional road cycling competition in Croatia, has reached a milestone by being included in the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) ProSeries category. The event features approximately 126 professional cyclists from 18 teams competing across nearly 1,000 kilometers of terrain connecting the Croatian coast to the interior. Early stages of the race have included routes from Split through locations such as Podstrana, Omiš, Gata, Trilj, and Brnaze, concluding in Sinj. Scheduled segments of the race include a fifth stage on September 26, 2026, traveling from Karlovac to Sveta Nedelja, which will pass through the Klinča Sela municipality. To manage the event, authorities have implemented temporary traffic regulations and integrated road closures into navigation applications to assist travelers. As part of broader regional cycling initiatives during European Mobility Week, the CRO Race is occurring alongside various other local cycling events in Croatia, such as the ‘Healthy Life along the Mura’ ride in Podturen and the 2nd VG Cycling Event in Velika Gorica.
