The summer cultural season continued to broaden. In Zagreb, the 17th EXIT Theatre Summer Nights festival wrapped up its final week on the rooftop of the Ribnjak Cultural Center, presenting cabaret, poetry recitals and comedy shows such as Zijah Sokolović’s “Međuigre 0‑24”, the “KORALJ VRAĆEN MORU” poetry evening and the comedy “VOLIŠ LI ME?”. Meanwhile on the islands, Krk hosted the Lovrečeva festival (8‑10 August) with a medieval Frankopan knights procession, a market of 40 local artisans and evening concerts, while nearby Cres held the historic Creski semenj fair (5‑7 August), showcasing cheese, olive oil, honey and traditional pastries alongside an exhibition on island cuisine. The Diamond Club on Krk delivered back‑to‑back concerts by trap rapper Grše and pop icon Lepa Brena, drawing thousands from Croatia and neighboring countries, and Dragan Lukić Luky’s long‑awaited concert was scheduled for Zadar’s Kapetanski Park on 31 August.
