Croatian healthcare infrastructure and equipment upgrades

Overview

Croatian hospitals and regional authorities are implementing various upgrades to medical equipment and facilities.

In Sisak, the General Hospital Dr. Ivo Pedišić acquired a Philips Ultrasound 5100 mobile device to assist the Unified Emergency Hospital Reception with faster diagnostics. In Zadar, the General Hospital Zadar’s neonatology department received a donation from Tankerska plovidba, including a Dräger Babyroo TN300 warming station and a Hamilton-T1 transport respirator to support newborns.

In the Osijek-Baranja County region, Našice General Hospital is undergoing significant investments, including over two million euros for a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) device, facility renovations, and the purchase of 33 new hospital beds. The City of Našice has also allocated 24,000 euros for a new ultrasound device for the Unified Emergency Hospital Reception, while a new branch of the SUVAG Polyclinic has opened to provide expanded rehabilitation services.
