Cruise industry seasonal itineraries and bookings

Overview

Major cruise lines continue to release seasonal itineraries and promotional booking windows. Norwegian Cruise Line has opened sales for its Summer 2028 season, featuring more than 450 voyages across 20 ships. These itineraries are designed to maximize time ashore, with port calls accounting for nearly 80% of voyage days and including 175 overnight stays. The line also continues its ‘Free at Sea’ promotion, which offers amenities such as specialty dining, shore excursions, and unlimited open bars.

Disney Cruise Line has expanded its promotional availability, offering deals for sailings extending through late September 2027. These include 148 specific dates with special offers departing from various international ports, as well as targeted rates for residents of Florida and Canada and onboard credits for U.S. military personnel. Previous savings of up to $500 per guest on select seven-night voyages for the Disney Wonder, Disney Treasure, and Disney Fantasy were scheduled to expire at the end of August 2026.

In the luxury segment, TravelSort is facilitating various sale offers for September 2026 bookings involving brands such as Regent Seven Seas, Oceania, Silversea, and Seabourn. These promotions include savings of up to $2,000 with Regent Seven Seas and shipboard credits for guests of Oceania and Silversea.

Norwegian Cruise Line has also announced a limited-time sale for its 2026-27 Australia and New Zealand season, with fares starting from $115 per person per day. This promotion highlights the Norwegian Spirit’s return to Sydney on November 30, 2026, featuring its most extensive regional itinerary to date. Additionally, NCLH Shows & Experiences will conduct an entertainment audition tour across Australia this October, seeking performers for the Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas fleets.
