Crunchyroll has expanded its programming updates, moving from its initial Fall 2026 announcements into specific premiere schedules and future 2027 projects. For the Autumn 2026 season, the lineup includes the third season of ‘The Apothecary Diaries’, the second season of ‘Black Clover’, and the return of ‘As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World’ for its third season. Specific premiere dates have been confirmed for ‘A Wild Last Boss Appeared! Season 2’ on September 26 and ‘Overgeared’ on September 27. Other seasonal titles include ‘Firefly Wedding’, ‘PSYREN’, and ‘The Vermillion Mask’. During a showcase at New York Comic Con 2026, the company unveiled several high-profile projects slated for 2027. This includes a world premiere trailer for the eight-episode series ‘Sekiro: No Defeat’, produced by KADOKAWA, Qzil. la, and ARCH, which is scheduled to stream in January 2027. Crunchyroll also provided a first look at ‘Ghost of Tsushima Legends’, an anime produced in collaboration with PlayStation Productions based on the video game’s multiplayer mode. Additional 2027 releases announced include ‘Magical Buffs: The Support Caster Is Stronger than He Realized’ on January 4, featuring music by LiSA, ‘Le Club des flâneurs’ in April, ‘Skull Dragon’s Precious Daughter’, and ‘Dans le sens du vent, Nord-Nord-Ouest’, which will stream on Netflix. Further details from the New York Comic Con showcase revealed that ‘Ghost of Tsushima Legends’ is expected to arrive in 2028. The platform also confirmed an anime adaptation of the webtoon ‘The Boxer’, though no release date is set. Other upcoming projects include ‘Kagurabachi’ in April 2027 and the second season of ‘Berserk of Gluttony’ in 2027. To expand its content, Crunchyroll announced a strategic partnership with HAYATE and LINE Digital Frontier to develop approximately 15 webtoon adaptations.
