Fairshake PAC, supported by cryptocurrency companies such as Coinbase and Ripple Labs, continues to expand its political spending during the 2026 election cycle. While the group has reserved $30 million specifically for Senate races—including efforts to oppose Democrat Sherrod Brown in Ohio—it has also shifted significant resources toward U.S. House of Representatives races. By October 2026, affiliated committees including the Republican-leaning Defend American Jobs and the Democratic-leaning Protect Progress disclosed $2.7 million in media spending for House races. These expenditures, which include advertising and direct-mail, targeted candidates perceived as pro-digital asset policy, such as Pete Aguilar, Tom Emmer, Glenn Thompson, and Josh Gottheimer. Many of these candidates previously supported the 2025 CLARITY Act regarding cryptocurrency market structures. As of late September 2026, Fairshake and its affiliates held more than $95 million. In Ohio, the Defend American Jobs committee has spent $46.6 million on media advertising to support Republican Senator Jon Husted and oppose former Senator Sherrod Brown, a figure that has already exceeded the group’s initial $30 million plan for that race. Additionally, Protect Progress disclosed $362,000 in media spending to support incumbent Democrat Aisha Wahab in California’s 14th congressional district. Between January 2025 and August 2026, Fairshake raised approximately $137.9 million, with additional backing from Andreessen Horowitz. This follows a 2024 cycle where crypto-aligned groups spent roughly $41 million to oppose Brown, contributing to a Republican victory in that contest.
