Cult of the Lamb Nintendo Switch 2 release

Overview

Massive Monster and publisher Devolver Digital announced that the strategy action game ‘Cult of the Lamb’ would launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on October 22, 2026. Prior to the launch, the title had sold over 7 million copies across all platforms since its 2022 debut.

Upon its release on October 22, the Nintendo Switch 2 edition introduced technical enhancements including improved frame rates, higher resolution, and support for the GameShare feature, which allows for local multiplayer functionality. New players can purchase the title on the Nintendo eShop for 24.99 €.

Owners of the original Nintendo Switch version, including both digital and physical copies, were eligible to upgrade to the new edition for free, with all existing DLC, such as the Woolhaven expansion, remaining compatible.
