San Luis Potosí is hosting various cultural and athletic events. Scheduled activities include an athletic race on October 11 to commemorate the Bicentennial of the State Constitution, as well as the Serial Trail and Pueblos Mágicos competition in Villa de Pozos on October 4. Eligible nominees include residents with at least 10 years of residency and artistic experience, as well as legally constituted organizations. The award covers fields such as visual arts, performing arts, music, literature, and traditional knowledge. Locally, the Escuela de Artes y Oficios Los Infante marked its 145th anniversary with the inauguration of a new learning center. Sporting initiatives have also expanded with significantly. Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona announced a 5.16 million peso fund to support 136 medalists from the announcement of CONADE National and Paranational Games and the Municipal Sports Award 2026, which recognizes non-professional athletes, adapted sports athletes, coaches, Popular National Games.
