Cultural and community events in Touraine

Overview

The Touraine region of France is hosting a variety of cultural, community, and sporting activities.

Initial events included children’s book readings, swing dancing along the Loire riverfront, and a comedy club night. Community focus also extended to a health conference on elderly depression and an event in Notre-Dame-d’Oé celebrating female entrepreneurship by honoring 15 businesses in the Centre-Val de Loire region.

Subsequent activities expanded to include sports and film, such as a football camp organized by Le Thouars Foot 79 and a professional table tennis match involving Joué-lès-Tours.
