Overview

Poland is hosting a variety of cultural and literary events throughout October 2026. These activities include the Family Book Festival in Międzyzdroje, the Becek Czyta literary festival for youth in Bytom, and the Angelus Literary Award in Wrocław.

Regional literary engagement is highlighted by the ‘Czas na Książki’ Literary Festival in Ząbkowice Śląskie, where Agnieszka Dobkiewicz received a main award. Other authors, such as Daria Kaszubowska and Sylwia Kubik, have conducted meetings across various municipalities to discuss Kashubian history, femininity, and the integration of fiction with historical events.

Beyond literature, celebrations include Wałbrzych’s 600th anniversary, philatelic exhibitions in Łowicz, and various museum and theatre programs across the country.
