Cultural and musical festivities in Brazil

Overview

Cultural and musical events are being held across various regions of Brazil. In Sobradinho, festivities include the sixth anniversary of the ‘Festival e Fandango’ program, which features educational activities on traditionalist history and integration with the Liga de Combate ao Câncer. Additionally, the Amazelê project is hosting a ‘Cosme e Damião’ edition at Casa Luanda to promote Afro-Brazilian culture through samba and exhibitions.

Further musical programming includes the ‘Sambalançou – Samba na Era do Rádio’ show in Goiânia, which pays tribute to the golden era of radio samba. In the Distrito Federal, a free samba circle is scheduled at Praça dos Artistas to celebrate ten years of cultural occupation in the Setor Comercial Sul, aiming to promote a democratic cultural scene.
