Various regional and specialized cultural, technological, and culinary events continue to be held or scheduled across Poland. Culinary heritage was recently highlighted at the Smaki Regionów fair at the Poznań International Fair, which recognized regional producers such as ‘Wanilia i Migdały’ and Okręgowa Spółdzielnia Mleczarska w Śremie. Recent and upcoming programming has expanded to include a significant focus on senior citizens. In cities like Bielsko-Biała and Gdańsk, ‘Senior Days’ are being held, offering workshops and concerts. To support this demographic, the ZUS initiative ‘Senior mówi: SPRAWDZAM’ aims to combat disinformation regarding digital security and pensions, while the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage’s ‘Weekend Seniora z Kulturą’ provides discounted access to theaters and museums. The ‘Weekend of the Senior with Culture’ has evolved into a nationwide initiative organized by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage to encourage social engagement and lifelong learning. Participating institutions are offering diverse opportunities, such as the Museum of Gdańsk providing entry to various branches for 1 PLN for those aged 60 and over. In Tarnów, the Wojciech Bogusławski Theater is hosting free guided tours and discounted tickets for family plays. Other cities are participating through library meetings, ceramics workshops, and specialized programs designed to bridge generational gaps and promote digital literacy. Other scheduled activities include the 10th Lublin Craft Beer Fair, the 10th Love Polish Jazz Festival in Tomaszów Mazowiecki, and the 10th edition of Made in Wroclaw, which showcases robotics and energy innovations. The 13th Poznań Design Festival will specifically address longevity and designing for aging populations. Additionally, the ‘Połączeni Alejami’ spectacle in Częstochowa, the IX NNW Film Festival in Gdynia, and various art exhibitions, including works by Zdzisław Beksiński, remain part of the regional cultural landscape.
