Cultural events in various Italian regions

Various cultural and theatrical events are taking place across different Italian municipalities. In early October, Canelli hosted theatrical performances including ‘My Own Apocalypse’ and ‘Medea, 10 anni di strada’, the latter focusing on migration and human trafficking. Aversa also scheduled the 22nd edition of the Premio Bianca d’Aponte, a competition for female singer-songwriters.

By late October, cultural activities continued in Mogliano with the performance of the comedy ‘Zi’ Nicole’ at the Teatro Apollo. In Ascoli, the ‘Nuovi Spazi Musicali’ festival concluded with the national premiere of ‘Sonora Imago – Omaggio a Bill Viola’, an unconventional performance integrating music, movement, and visual elements.

Looking ahead to late November, the Teatro Arcas in Naples is scheduled to host the absolute premiere of ‘Sporca Eva’ on November 25, 2026. Written and directed by Gianni Del Vecchio, with original music by Paolo Del Vecchio, the production combines theater and song to examine the relationship between women and religious patriarchy. The play explores how religious structures have historically been used to shape female consciousness and morality. Featuring a collaborative performance by Rosaria De Cicco, Barbara Buonaiuto, and Margherita Romeo Messeri, the narrative uses seven scenes, monologues, and songs to provide an autonomous voice to historical and symbolic figures such as Eva, Sara, Maria, and Maddalena.
