Cultural festivals in Kraków

Overview

Kraków hosted several cultural events in October 2026. The 22nd Borderlands of Cultures Fair took place at Mały Rynek until October 25, showcasing traditional crafts, art, and regional delicacies from Poland and neighboring nations such as Lithuania, Belarus, and Ukraine. Despite high food prices, the fair attracted significant crowds for its gastronomic and musical offerings.

On October 24, the District I Old Town Festival was held at the Barbakan. Organized by the District I Old Town Council and the Museum of Kraków, this free event featured historical demonstrations including knight combat, falconry, and ancient crafts like pottery and papermaking, concluding with a surprise concert.
