Valencia hosted several Fallas festival events, including the Trinidad Alfonso Zurich Valencia Half Marathon and ceremonies honoring the Reial Senyera. In Alzira, new Falleras Mayores were officially proclaimed during a municipal session. Local activities continued with an artisan market, parades, and concerts scheduled for late October and early November in Valencia. Additionally, Vilagarcía held an annual Flower Market to support All Saints’ Day traditions. During the weekend of October 31 to November 1, 2026, Valencia expanded its cultural programming with various activities and markets. A significant highlight is the artisan market at the Moll 4 precinct, which offers free entry, creative workshops, gastronomic offerings, and live music. This event includes the ‘Pasacalle de las Almas’, a themed procession scheduled for Saturday evening. Other regional activities include the third semifinal of the Lliga del Paraulògic at the Centre Octubre, a competition centered on mental agility and word games. The broader Valencian Community is also hosting themed events for Halloween and All Saints' Day, such as the Fira de Tots Sants in Cocentaina and the Retroplay gaming fair in Torrent. Following a high-speed train accident in Urda, Toledo, several cultural and musical events across Spain have been suspended or rescheduled. The Spanish government declared three days of official mourning in response to the disaster. In Tarancón, concerts by Orquesta Panorama and Orquesta Sonital scheduled for October 31 were suspended. In Ibiza, the musical ‘Coco’ was moved to November 1, and the II Trobada de Corals Lina Bufí was cancelled. Additionally, the South International Series Festival in Cádiz cancelled its opening gala, red carpet, and opening party at the Gran Teatro Falla as a sign of respect. Local administrations in Castilla-La Mancha also suspended public and institutional calls to show solidarity.
