CultureCon 2026, a festival held in Brooklyn, has announced its programming and lineup under the theme ‘Museum of Us’. Founded by Imani Ellis, the event aims to support creatives, entrepreneurs, and cultural leaders in building sustainable careers through initiatives such as a Founder Summit, Creator Summit, and a Small Business Marketplace. The festival lineup includes various entertainers, athletes, and cultural figures, including Michael B. Jordan, Mahershala Ali, Aaron Pierre, Wale, Tobe Nwigwe, John Legend, Daniel Kaluuya, Colin Kaepernick, and Niecy Nash Betts. In addition to the main festival scheduled for October 3–4, the event will be preceded by CultureCon Week from September 28 to October 2, which will feature community events, dinners, and screenings across New York City. The main festival is scheduled to take place at Brooklyn’s Duggal Greenhouse. Organizers expect over 12,000 attendees. Programming for the 2026 iteration will include hands-on workshops, the debut of the CultureCon bookstore, and curated art showcases held in partnership with the Black Girl Art Show and Black Boy Art Show. The lineup also features Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Following its scheduled dates, the festival concluded at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, drawing approximately 12,000 attendees to celebrate Black creativity and entrepreneurship. During the event, Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani participated in a fireside conversation with Ellis, describing the festival as a platform that provides “essential connection points for artists and entrepreneurs in New York City.”
