The Czech government is planning the construction of a major new hospital in Prague to replace aging infrastructure at institutions such as Bulovka, FNKV, and the General University Hospital. A capacity study conducted by Advance Hospital Analytics is currently underway to determine requirements for beds, equipment, and personnel, with results expected by the end of the year. To facilitate this, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš and Health Minister Adam Vojtěch have indicated that the government is considering transferring land from proposed site could be located within the grounds of the Faculty Hospital of King’s Vineyards (FNKV) (FNKV). The government is considering transferring this land to the Ministry of Defence.
