Water utility companies in the Czech Republic are implementing various infrastructure and resource management projects to secure supplies and modernize systems. In the Central Bohemian region, Vodárny Kladno – Mělník is planning an investment exceeding one billion CZK to construct a new water intake and treatment plant on the Vltava River. This project seeks to provide up to 250 liters of water per second to support population growth near Prague. This project is part of a broader investment cycle in Prague, which includes a seven billion CZK water line and a planned 4.78 billion CZK reconstruction of an existing line.
