The Czech dance competition StarDance is undergoing significant changes regarding its presentation and participant experiences. Furthermore, producers are investigating new formats inspired by international spin-offs, such as the American ‘Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro’, which emphasizes the personal stories of professional dancers in a reality-show style. Regarding the competition itself, participants have shared various challenges. Contestants Marta Jandová and Martin Prágr noted the difficulty of initial training sessions and the awkwardness of building physical rapport with strangers. Additionally, Sara Prachař Sandeva reported experiencing a mental block that affects her ability to perform when being watched.
