Dahlia-themed celebrations and community events are taking place across the Netherlands. The Holland Dahlia Event is marking its tenth anniversary at Kasteel Keukenhof with a ‘SHOWTIME’ theme, featuring dahlia mosaics, sculptures, and the debut of a dahlia carpet. This jubilee includes 121 dahlia mosaics spread across various villages, including a giant mosaic in Lisse, which visitors can explore via dedicated walking and cycling routes. In Vollenhove, the ~~region’s first Dahlia Corso scheduled for September 11. Other regional~~ Food & Flowers Festival accompanies the traditional Corso, featuring massive parade floats covered in hundreds of thousands of dahlias. The festival includes street theater, mobile musical acts, and a culinary hub at Marten Kingmaplein. Regional activities also include open days in Zwolle at the Ruusbroec and Wezenlanden ~~gardens,~~ gardens.
