Speculation regarding a potential romance between actress Dakota Johnson and musician Machine Gun Kelly (Colson Baker) has intensified following multiple sightings. The pair reportedly first met in July 2026 at the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. On September 11, they were seen at Swift’s Tribeca apartment in New York City, arriving separately but departing together for dinner and staying at a nearby hotel. In a recent Vogue interview, Johnson addressed her desire for motherhood, stating, ‘I really do,’ and expressed a wish for a more grounded life. While some reports suggested a mismatch between Johnson’s desire to settle down and Baker’s free-spirited lifestyle, other insiders claim the relationship is becoming increasingly serious. Johnson has reportedly described their physical chemistry as ‘fireworks’ and has introduced Baker to her mother, Melanie Griffith. Public appearances have further fueled the rumors, including Johnson attending Milan Fashion Week to watch Baker walk the runway and a joint appearance at a Los Angeles speakeasy on October 14. More recently, the pair were observed leaving a Los Angeles recording studio together late at night. On October 25, they were also photographed departing the Chateau Marmont hotel late at night. Most recently, the duo was photographed on a casual outing in West Hollywood, sitting on a sidewalk while drinking caffeinated beverages. Addressing the speculation on the Vogue podcast ‘The Run-Through’, Johnson expressed indifference toward media reports, noting she finds it ‘useless’ to correct every inaccurate report. In a subsequent interview, she suggested those intensely interested in her personal relationships should ‘get a life,’ noting that routine activities with her agent or lawyer are often misinterpreted by social media. Despite reports of a strong connection and a shared dark sense of humor, some of Johnson’s inner circle have expressed concern regarding Baker’s lifestyle and its stability. life.’
