Dalaroo Metals has reported significant gold exploration results at its Bondoukou Gold Ridge project in north-eastern Côte d’Ivoire. Initial drilling at the Wilfred target yielded an intercept of 18 metres at 7.31 grams per tonne gold from a depth of 63 metres. Detailed assays showed a peak assay of 15.9g/t gold, with all one-metre samples in that interval returning more than 1.72g/t gold. Further drilling confirmed near-surface oxide mineralisation, returning 23 metres at 2.14g/t gold from the surface. These results indicate a broad, continuous, and shallow gold mineralisation system within the Birimian greenstone belt. Through a joint venture, Dalaroo may earn up to an 80% interest in the exploration permit PR-825. Recent drilling at a location approximately 1.25km northwest of the Wilfred discovery has intersected sulphide mineralisation, revealing a 34-metre zone of alteration and quartz veining. The geological sequence is reported to be similar to previous discovery holes that yielded high-grade gold intercepts. Assays for these recent holes are expected in early November, and further diamond drilling is scheduled to commence in mid to late October.
